![Stunning bark on this Luma apiculata (Chilean myrtle). First time I’ve climbed one of these trees. Very smooth and very dusty too!
The tree has reached its max height and spread, and the roots are struggling to hold it up (or down?), so we performed a crown reduction to keep the form while reducing the spread and thus reduce the wind sail effect.
