A time to plant. Bareroot Griselinia littoralis evergreen hedging going in around a new garden plot today. Its soft, round edged, yellow-green foliage is more delicate to the eye than the bold and romping Prunus laurocerasus (cherry laurel) fashionable in the late 20th century. Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi added at this early stage will ensure the plants establish well. The fast-moving fungal hyphae will be quick to colonise the root zone share the goods with the new plants.

Autumn is nearing its end, and it is time to prepare your garden for winter. 'Putting the garden to bed' ensures it stays tidy, healthy, and ready for a beautiful spring. Key Tasks for Winter Preparation 🎯 Tidy Up Borders: Prune back dead or dying foliage from herbaceous perennials. Cut stems down to a few inches above the soil. Dry them completely and lubricate moving parts with oil to prevent rust during storage.
